Breakfast Club  

We are delighted to be one of seven schools in the Carlisle area taking part in the Early Adopter Breakfast Club Programme which means we have access to government funding allowing us to deliver a FREE breakfast club at Hallbankgate Village School for EVERY child in our school from April 2025 through until the end of the Summer Term 2026.

The government scheme funds 30 minutes per day for all children registered at our school from Reception through to Year 6.  However, this complicated our previous chargeable breakfast club provision which operated from 8am until 8.45am.  Therefore, the Governing Body have agreed that we will continue to run breakfast club sessions from 8am until 8.45am, and that the whole session will be free of charge to all parents.  This includes nursery children. 

Booking places is easy; simply log onto your Arbor Parent Portal, select Clubs and book either daily or weekly sessions.  Alternatively you can book places through Mrs Davidson in the school office.   

We provide a nutritious breakfast with regular favourites, for example cereal, toast, fruit and yoghurt available every day, supplemented with a weekly variety of pastries and special surprises!  

Early network meetings with other EA schools in the North West region have been very positive and we are excited to be one of the seven schools in the Carlisle area offering this opportunity to our parents.
