Strive for Five
At Hallbankgate Village School, the expectation is that your child reads at home at least five times each week.
Reading regularly will help to support your child’s fluency and understanding when reading a range of texts across the curriculum and beyond. The reading ‘week’ begins each Friday so that reading can be celebrated in our Celebration Assembly.
